Part 1
The image above was my most successful image assignment. I took this photo at Longwood Gardens when I stumbled upon this overhead drip fountain, The natural overhead lighting was perfect and gave the rest of the background a deep and dark effect. The most challenging aspect of this challenge was picking the right photos to match each criteria, I ended up taking over 300 random photos this week. In order to produce stronger images in the future, I would plan out exactly what I needed capture, instead of just randomly filling my SD card.
Part 2
Hello Qiannan, I really like this photo. I agree that that it isn't the most colorful, but the blend of colors present and the soft blueish clouds give the photo an ominous feel. You did a great job at demonstrating analogous colors in this photo.
I really appreciate your work, and this photo captures the light just perfectly. Indeed, I also thought that if I kept pressing the shutter, beautiful photos would be recorded. However, your success demonstrates that the thought that accompanies the composition of light and color is the key to accurate moment of pressing the shutter to complete the artwork.
I think this photo of yours is really a success. This is a moment shot, and against a dark background, the water droplets appear very clear. I think this picture can show the state of the water drop during the fall.
